Billy Bannon is a former college basketball coach turned yogi and has been leading vinyasa yoga & meditation practices since 2010.  After nearly two decades in coaching, including 10 years at Cal Poly Pomona University, Billy officially traded in his whistle for a yoga mat.  In 2012, he founded b.e.a.t.s. movement, a non-profit organization serving the criminal justice system, community organizations, workplace wellness initiatives, plus a variety of festivals and special events.

b.e.a.t.s. movement provides sessions combining Billy’s passion for cultivating self-empowerment and community-building with the physical/mindful practices of pranayama (breathwork), asana (physical yoga practice) and meditation along with sharing the wisdom and philosophy of yoga – plus there’s singing/music making, writing/journaling and group dialogue.  A supportive, creative container encourages participants to find freedom in movement and self-expression while connecting more deeply with self and with one another.

Billy is based in Southern California and shares b.e.a.t.s. movement at festivals throughout the state as well as at national and international events.  His yoga background is based on the Eight-Limbed Path, vinyasa & yin asana (physical practice) and the wisdom of the ancient text, Yoga Sutras. He is also currently in training to become a certified Yoga Therapist, serving disadvantaged communities and working with private clients.

Frankie Salazar - After a life long struggle with drugs and alcohol, Frankie found himself at a crossroads in life. He was existing through homelessness and watching his friends fade away from their addictions. He had a moment of clarity, asked for help, and never looked back. After years of sobriety his thirst for spiritual knowledge led him to the rooms of yoga. He fell in love immediately and knew he wanted to teach. As his practice grew stronger, his journey took him within and a strong meditation practice soon followed.

Yoga and meditation helped him break free from his personal limitations and led him to his true passion which is Breathwork. He has always said, "I didn't find Breathwork, it found me." Today Frankie facilitates Breathwork groups in treatment and rehab facilities all over southern California and beyond. He has taken the healing practice into the California Men's prison system to share with the inmates and has done workshops at various yoga studios through SoCal. He has completed all of his healer training's with renowned healer David Elliott but continues his education by revisiting them with his teacher often.

He is also a 200 hr RYT and Frankie is co-facilitator at the Art of Breath workshops in Laguna Beach, Ca and is the head trainer for Breathworks Connection based out of Laguna Beach as well. He is so excited to share his passion with you for self healing. Frankie holds a safe space for others to experience the magic of connecting with themselves and with the Energy that surrounds everything.

Corey Miller - Corey comes from a recovery background with over 13 years of sobriety with 4 years as a CADC-1 Drug and Alcohol Counselor, which is where he was introduced to Meditation from Noah Levine in Los Angeles, Ca in 2005. Corey now provides donation based community meditation groups in Orange County, Ca. Corey also has a culinary background, which started in 1991 as a short order cook while in High School, then on to Culinary Academy in San Fransisco shortly after.

My passion is to show people what they are capable of and connecting like minded souls through meditation, yoga, spirit and food.
