Aubrey is a RYT 200 with a background in Ashtanga, Vinyasa and handstand training. She has been practicing for a years, and strives to help her students build their practices on a solid foundation.

What's included:

3 nights and 4 days in a Private Creekside House

Aubrey first came to yoga in the middle of a stressful job search by joining a local studio and going to as many classes as possible to stay sane in the midst of filling out application after application. Coming from a gymnastics and cheerleading background, she felt right at home with the physical practice that yoga offers, but really learned to appreciate the mental and emotional aspects of yoga by continuing to practice each day. Slowly but surely, she came to the realization that yoga is not only a workout for your body, but for your mind as well.

After a year of consistent practice, she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at All Yoga Training in Bali. Her studies are based in Ashtanga and Vinyasa, and her classes focus on cultivating strength and awareness by building on a solid foundation. She prides herself on being warm and welcoming to every student who joins her classes, and wants to help make yoga a practice that every single person can benefit from.

Since she comes from a gymnastics background, handstands have been in her life for a very long time. Practicing yoga daily has gotten her back to a regular handstand practice after finishing gymnastics, and it has become more than just a physical part of her practice - she uses her inversion practice to de-stress and meditate as well. Because of her love of handstands and everything inverted, she wanted to host a yoga retreat that is focused on handstands and inversions, while still being all levels friendly. Having the ability to lead handstand workshops is the reason she wanted to do YTT in the first place, so being able to host a retreat around handstands and inversions is a dream come true for her, and she hopes a dream come true for all of the attendees as well.
